From 52 year old male. Don't beat yourself up on the lie, while not the best way to have handled it, I can't say such a handling of a situation as you have is completely unexpected. Its out of your hands now and you have to prepare yourself for whatever decision the guy makes.

Chopper Advice on About

Did you ever think he might already know ? If its real love it will not matter to him at all. Here is some advice prepare him meal wine , candles , music the lot wear something drop jaw sexy and give him the best nite of his life. Then suprise with something you never done before....... then tell him.

For one, you shouldn't have lied. He probably would've liked you for the person you are, no matter your age. I mean, I am 26 and waiting for my 17 year old buddy to turn 18 (only about another two weeks!) so I can ask him on a date

For one, you shouldn't have lied. He probably would've liked you for the person you are, no matter your age. I mean, I am 26 (turning 27 soon) and waiting for my 17 year old buddy to turn 18 (only about another two weeks!) so I can ask him on a date. Hopefully he will accept, but if not, hey he knows my real age and won't ever hate me for lying to him like that guy probably does you now. Sorry but that's just the way the ball bounces when you don't tell the truth. Maybe next time you won't lie!

if this man truly loves you a little white lie would be so easy to forgive looking at why you did it it is quite understandable. it is not a big deal and a grown up could accept this and understand why forgive and move on. i wonder if he has some other issues going on that he is looking for the smallest excuse to somehow make an exit. MY advice is beware of how he handles this situation if he is over the top about it i think he could be hiding something. Take care and good luck.
