Me and my bf have been going out for a year now. I'm 16 and he's 19. He left for the Air Force on Oct 13, 2003 and he's graduated and now in tech school and he will soon be based in Utah in April. I know exactly what you went through when ur fiance/husband went to bootcamp i cried for weeks. My bf was only allowed to call every sunday for about 5 minutes. The whole time he was at boot camp he was only allowed to send me one letter we had very little contact. About two months later he came home for Christmas and at first it was weird cuz we hadn't seen eachother for a while but that whole week he came home we spent all day and night together, and once again he had to leave again and yet again i cried. The distance is starting to get to us and we're starting to fall apart, but i love him so much. I still have my first prom to go to which is my junior prom that's coming up in april. We want to get married and he wants me to move with him to Utah and i want to, the only thing is my parents may think i'm too young to take such a step, which i know i am young but it feels like the right thing to do. My parents adore him also, especially my dad because he was in the vietnamese air force so whenever him and my bf talk they talk on and on. Do you have any ideas on how i can mention this to my parents? If you do please contact me at bt_n@hotmail.com
