REAL LIFE: im a foOl in love and don't know what to do can someone help me please?

Okay it's like this. . .

This guy i grew up with i've known since i was 7 years old and he is my brother's good friend.
My brother is well known in the neighbourhood so i have alot of haters that don't like me. At that time the only words from the guy were "hello?. . . where's your brother. . .you know me don't you?".
At first it was just a cute puppy love thing but by the time i was like 17 it got serious and physical at 18 we spoke and at that time he would smile whenever he saw me ,and look me right into my eyes he walked me to the shop once and in that short time i managed to squeeze some info from him.

I found out that he is just a year older than me and his birthday is two days after mine!
Then at a cousin's funeral i felt someone watching me from my left and i saw that it was him but whenever i looked he would try to look away . . what does that mean?

I saw him recently and we greeted each other and all like normal.
Over all he was my FIRST REAL crush i have never felt this way about other guys i've liked and dated i mean all those silly love songs made sense to me , whenever i thought of him i start singing Minnie Ripperton you know the song! lol he made me weak in the knees and my body would heat up and butterflies in my stomach and all sometimes when i didn't feel like talking he would just watch me walk by. . .one time he did that when my brother was there!

. . .can someone please help me? i think i'm in love but i could be wrong and again it's not fun if only one personis in love and the one you want isn't feeling it you know?
