Nice story. I've had some crew trainer at my restaurant (Vancouver, BC) whose been working there for 2 years and still hasn't been promoted to Team Leader. I've only been working there for 1 year and I got promoted before her. She then got all emo and started getting jealous of me. What do I do? I ignore her and savour my position =). She even had a friend who was a swing manager.. and they tried to demote me... but failed miserably. Haha! Try it, It'll piss em off.
