I know the feeling. I have been a RN for 30yrs worked ICU ER and just about every where else. the least length of time I ever worked for one place was 2 yrs. Most of the others about 5-7yrs. Spotless record with all the BON, never involved with drugs, no serious clinical errors. Did have a habit of speaking my mind and apparentlly ticked off some nurse in the past who now have more authority. Because at 55 yrs old even with a nursing shortage I am unemployed. The place were I intended to return after being away for 10 yrs tell me I am re-hireable but no one seems to want me on the team. Which is really odd because hardly anyone is there that I work with. In the past years since then I have been sucessful to extremes. I made graet money and was well respected, and as always dedicated. I am not one of those nurse who just worked and went home. I worked hard studying all the time and my certifications and accomplishments account for that. But now its useless. I have lived in my house for 15yrs and love the area. my wife and I were better than ever but now its the tubes. So what fiiel does a used up RN go into to keep above water enough to just last to retirement. So to the wise if you see something wrong or some body is messing up. Look the other way because there are consequences of trying to to the right things...

I'm so sorry that that happened to you. I'm getting out soon too, but I'm going to start working on my own terms. I'm going to work for me, not for some ass administrator who asks what payor source that patient was right after they die so that he can figure out how it will effect his bottom line!!

I'm always interested in new ideas, but I'm pretty psyched about Work at home united. I'm having a lot of fun, but I can't wait until I can quit this job.

Work at home united is a support system and is partnered with Melaleuca. Have you heard of it?
