Travel Story: Horror Scam by GEO GROUP

First of all:

SHAM ON ALL OF YOU!!!!

ALL of you were invited to a presentation that promoted timeshare vacations.
ALL of you were intrigued and thought of the POSSIBILITY of timeshare vacations.
ALL of you know that in Life NOTHING is for free.
ALL of you took the time out of your “busy lifestyles” and attended a presentation that promoted timeshare vacations.
ALL of you sat one on one with a “salesperson” and discussed and reviewed the paperwork regarding timeshare vacations.

At this point, ALL of you should know WHAT Geo is promoting. At this point, ALL of you should have an idea if you and your family can afford this LEISURELY EXPENSE!

If you CAN, then I suggest you ASK more questions BEFORE you sign. ASK with respect to cancellations, ASK about payment options, ASK about how to make reservations, ASK about elderly discounts, ASK, ASK ASK!!!!

If you CAN NOT afford this leisurely expense, then get up and LEAVE. NO ONE is holding a gun to your head to sign up. NO ONE is holding you hostage. If they promote a special offer as a “once in a lifetime opportunity” it’s a sure bet that if you come in again they will set you up with the SAME offers. I suggest you take the TIME to think about it. This is an INVESTMENT with YOUR MONEY. Ultimately, IT IS YOUR DECISION. YOU DECIDE to sign the Agreement. YOU DECIDE if you can afford it.

If you do sign and can not afford it any longer or unsatisfied you do have the option to SELL the timeshare package. There are alot of options out there for you.

Once you DO become a member, there are alot of great privileges that GEO offers (like free weekend getaways, group activities)

Stop crying and LEARN what your membership has to offer. AND REMEMBER to READ everything (even the small print) BEFORE you sign.

How it lies to consumers

If it needs one year to reserve a vacation , but Geo people, from sales to managers told buyers that only a few weeks in advance, you could reserve your resort anywhere you want to stay and whenever you want to go, is it misleading or not?

If Geo promised buyers that as a member, you can get much lower price air plane ticket than you can get from travel agencies, but the fact turned to be much higher price than travel agencies, is it misleading or not?

If Geo promised the maintenance fee just increased as inflation rate, but it actually doubled in the past few years, is it misleading or not?

I dont' want to mention a lot of misleading fact at this moment, it really darked my mood and made me feel sick, just please answer my three questions above.

Do you think Geo lets people take away contract to be reviewed by lawyers if you don't sign and make payment? No way!

You mentioned 375.00 non-refundable processing, do you know years ago, it was judged in court it must be refunded to a couple? Because the couple were brave enough to bring Geo to court just for that small amount of money (300.00 plus)? Do you know in last month, someone signed and cancelled the contract in 10 days, not only got his thousand of dollars back, but also got his non-refundable processing fee back? Because he told Geo that if he could not get the $375.00 back, he would bring Geo to small claim court. Therefore, you have to learn the 375.00 IS REFUNDABLE, either by the judge in court or by personal fighting effort.

Keep conduct your Geo puppet duties, maybe you can get a bonus bone.
