I work telemetry and it gets bad, and some of the patients are toally noncompliant, frequent flyers.
I have been told we don't have unions here as well. Just northern states.
Trick, if you think your patient is just looking for those lovely IV pushes. Nothing pissed them off better than drawing up the med, filling the rest of the syringe with NS or sterile water, and pushing very, very slowly. It keeps them from experiencing the "rush" and prevents their lovely viens from burning up.
