Travel Story: Another Geoholidays scam call

I agree. I actually went to one of their seminars (that's probably what he was trying to get you to show up for). Free snacks, a gift certificate to East Side's, and some accomodation paid 3 day-2 night trips were the lures.

Walked out of the seminar (after some harassment as to how I could be so dense as to not want to basically sign over anywhere upwards of $15,000 to $50,000 right there on the spot and miss out on big time savings/opportunities) with the $30 gift certificate in hand, full stomach, and a smile on my face. Thanks but no thanks!

Beware of those that say you have to sign then and there (without being given the chance to check into their background) or the 'opportunity' is off.

Angry Geo Holidays and Ramada Resort Vacations

We had the misfortune to accept an offer to stay at the Wigamog Resort in Ontario Canada through Geoholidays, and although the resort was terrriffic , the sale pitch was annoying, the price we received was a free trip with Ramada Vacation Resort which we learn also was a scam.

I would definately urge all people to stay clear of GeoHoldays, Ramada Resort Vacations and Wigamog Resort based strictly on association with such practices.

We did walk out of the hard sell, $15,000 canadian with astronomical annual maintenance fees. Cheaper to use Wholesale Travel, good deals , great accomodation , have then four trips with Wholesale travel, and not had a single problem.

Shocking

I went Extreme Pita too eat a Pita & there was a ballot there too fill out for a chance to win a Mercedez Benz which I did.

I was called saying to come in for a 90min. presentation & u will rec've a key for a chance to open a box to have a chance too win a Mercendez Benz as well a gift certificate for 2 for dinner @ Golden Griddle & as well either to choose trips that have either 1 wk all inclusive paid for to 2 places in the states as well 2 other options to choose too pick from a box of course for montreal or other locations in the usa which only is the accomadations paid the travel expenses r u're own responsibility.

I went with a guest & the Dinner we rec'ved that was fine we had choices to pick from though & only had too pay taxes & tip only.
The key didn't open which who knows if there is such a key that exists.
The trip I had too pick from a big turning bucket which they didn't allow me too shuffle the turn & it was very ful with envelopes which they said not too look @ to pick only & I wasn't able too c what was picked but told we won a trip too a few places to the states 2 nites 3days accomadation paid too fill this form & send it out fwithin 3wks. The form asks for $50.00 even though $50.00 refundable it shouldn't ask if u won it. Also U have a # to call to ask questions they don't even know anyhting too assist u. They expect u to enter u're telephone # & card # of payment use not happening what a bull of shit.

This is BIG SSCAM that is CHARGABLE in LEGAL PROCEDURE.
