We are giving our son and fiance the NCL Dawn 11 day cruise from NYC to the
Western Caribbean for their honeymoon November 20, 2005. They asked me if
there is any Thanksgiving celebration (turkey dinner) on Thanksgiving.

Has anyone done a cruise over Thanksgiving? Do you know if they will expect
a nice turkey dinner that day?

We were on the Empress of the Seas over Thanksgiving last year and yes, they
will have turkey, cranberry sauce and all the trimmings at the evening
meal..They did not make too much of Thanksgiving as a celebration, because
there were many other nationalities onboard who, if they do celebrate
Thanksgiving, do not celebrate it on the same day that we do in the USA.

Disney apparently puts on a hell of a fireworks show for NY and 4th of
July. Being mostly US pax, this works out for them.
