Been wondering how close to a cruise's sailing date can you make a
reservation if cabins are still available. Do any of the cruise lines
maintain a
last minute list to offer cabins to folks who can cruise with a short
notice.

My experience was 96 hours; perhaps 72 is doable too. I doubt you can do
it any closer to sail date. Princess maintains a last minute list and I
believe Carnival does too. Perhaps all of the major do too.
