Bali Spa

Hi,

Could anyone give some advise: I will be visiting Bali in end-May, early
June period. Could anyone suggest any recommendations for spa treatments in
the Ubud area?

Thanks,

K.

The Tjampuan Hotel in Tjampuan village on the edge of Ubud has a nice one,
partly built into caves over looking the river.
Quite expensive like most hotel spas. It is also down many steps from the
hotel, OK unless you have leg problems etc.

There is (or was a year or so back) another nice one, cheaper I think and
not in a hotel, on Monkey forest road, on the right hand side going from
Ubud centra, and not far from Ubud centre. Sorry I forget the name.

Re: Bali Spa

Spa Hati maybe? It is a very recommendable spa actually.
Very decent environment. Experienced masasseurs. Cheap.
And it's under a charity program, so when you visit them,
you are also helping Balinese children back to schools.

Re: Bali Spa

Hi Lynch,

Thanks for the recommendation, and I think we will give that a try when we
are in Ubud. It would be good if we can be of help to the local community.

We will be visiting Bali for 14 days, going from Kuta to Ubud, Kintamani,
Candi Dasa and back to Ubud. Are there any places / activities / spas we
ought not miss?

Thanks!

Kevin
