Yes, it is very sad when that is the level they have to stoop. But look at
the people who are stooping, it isn't surprising. It is just as sad that
they have to pick at how he speaks.
Personally, I think W speaks in a very clear manner, you know what he is
saying. He isn't trying to use fancy terminology. People like Al Gore and
Bill Clinton are fine speakers, too fine in some ways. They could sell a
screen door to a submarine captain. But is that what we want? Someone who
can speak in a manner that could confuse most people?
Or do we want someone that speaks in a manner that is clear and easy to
understand?
I don't like everything about W either and I will criticize him on some of
his policies, but I think he speaks from the heart most of the time. He
tells you how it is, no sales job.
