Oh, at first I thought you took them to "The Western" for a "camp comedy"!
That would have been good too. : )

Thanks for the info, Chuck. We plan on seeing "Forbidden Vegas" in Sept.
Might as well give the machines a shot while we're there. I understand,
tho' that their VP selection isn't the best, but for 50% off...

Then this is the one advantage of the discount ticket agency - they
told me half price for one wasn't a problem.

OOO-I do love those penny 50 plays! Got my very first royals on one of
those @ Orleans.

It would be great if we could get to LV before September...but it's just not
"in the cards" as they say. Airfares are too expensive to allow more than
one LV trip/year. The offer may well be expired when we get there (just my
luck) but at least I'll be armed with your info and it can't hurt to ask.
:-)

Re: Forbidden Vegas deal

Too Expensive?

Delta has $85 - 104 each way fares from Bos. Jet Blue starts non stop
in May. America West is around $139. Not sure about Southwest out of
Manchester but when we looked during one of their sales it was around
$200 rt.

Airfare is very reasonable, however rooms are getting much more
expensive it seems.

We always fly out of Manchester. I realize that sometimes better deals can
be had out of Logan, but it's the getting there part that leaves me a wreck
for the rest of the day. Not worth it-they'd pretty much have to offer us a
free flight to get us to fly from Boston. Part of our problem with flights
to LV is that my hubby wants to leave for LV no later than 7 AM and wants
the 10:30ish or midnight redeye coming home. The cheap seats are rarely
available for those times-even way in advance. C. monitors many websites to
keep an eye on flight and rental car costs and it's usually the off-times
that are the inexpensive ones. I know-we're shooting ourselves in the feet
by being so picky...

I was reading the other day that the "9/11 phenomenon" that resulted in
lower fares, rooms and cruises is virtually over. And now with the price
of fuel going sky-high...
