The best discussion about science careers is that a pretty big fraction of
the guys who think about getting into a science career should really think
about something else to do if they want to make money.

Rob Colby talks about medical careers as well as sci careers.

At the rate outsourcing and offshoring is taking place, if you want a sci
career, you'll have to go to India or China.

Don't forget the Soviet republics and eastern Europe. I hear that the
