Effectiveness of Natural Drug against Amoebiasis Confirmed

Brazzaville, Dec 29 (Prensa Latina) Health authorities from the Republic
of Congo and other African nations ratified here the effectiveness of
CH130, a new herbal drug to treat amoebiasis.

Developed by Chired-Congo Laboratory, CH130 was presented in a seminar
on regional pharmacology held here under the sponsorship of the
Africa-Malagasy Council of Higher Education, a specialized institution
from French-speaking countries.

Lab chief Victor Ngoya said the drug's clinical and biological
effectiveness has been proved after it was administered free to 73
patients with acute amoebic dysentery symptoms who were admitted in
Brazzaville clinics.

CH130 is a syrup-like drug with no toxic properties, something that
guaranteed an immediate recognition by the Congolese Ministry of
Health's pharmacy board.
