NLNAC accredited schools

Hi, I know this has been addressed in the newsgroup before but I still
wasnt exactly clear. I am going to be applying to nursing schools in
the SF Bay Area (probably an associates program) in the near future and
am a bit confused regarding accredidation. Is there a real advantage to
going to a NLNAC accredited school? I am deffinately hoping to be able
to work in other states at some point, will this decision affect that?
Most of the community college programs that I qualify for with my
current completed prerequisites do not seem to have this accredidation.
Would it be in my best interest to put off nursing school, complete
additional prereqs and then go to a NLNAC program?
Thanks for your help!
Josh
