OK, let's get back to the specifics.
Are there any people from Detroit, who can shortlist those bad
neighboorhoods?

I'm gonna spend a week in Roseville (found a cheap hotel down there)
while visiting the Auto Show. Is this area all right?

Thanks.

Re: Detroit Safety

You can stay in Windsor and take the tunnel (or a boat ~:-).

Search for: 1 Washington Blvd

Re: Detroit Safety

Roseville is fine. It's a stable, safe, integrated upper working-class and
middle class suburb. Lots and lots of shopping...many come from Canada to
shop in this area. Lots of big box stores, like Best Buy, etc.

Easy access to the Auto Show area, too, via I-94. However, check for freeway
closings. I know US10 is closed, but I'm not sure if it's toward downtown or
north of downtown.

C'mon! There hasn't been a riot in decades. Why are you calling it
"DetRIOT"?

That isn't me. That was the guy I replied to.

All right, thanks everybody who have replied. Looks like I can leave my
hunting shotgun at home.
