Mexican Lynchings

Source: Guerrilla group was targeted by probe=20

BY RAYMUNDO RIVA PALACIO/EL UNIVERSAL
December 03, 2004=20

=20

Despite continued statements by federal authorities that the lynched =
police agents in San Juan Ixtayopan were investigating smalltime drug =
dealers, sources told EL UNIVERSAL on Thursday they were actually =
gathering information on a guerrilla group.=20
Sources say the three agents were monitoring the house of Francisco =
Cerezo Quiroz, alias "The Professor," who allegedly heads the Popular =
Revolutionary Army, known by its Spanish initials EPR. Cerezo's sons =
were accused of placing firecrackers outside several banks in Mexico =
City and have been jailed since 2001.=20
The EPR is considered by federal authorities to be one of the biggest =
threats to Mexico's national security.=20
Sources also indicate the agents' inexperience had contributed to the =
crisis in San Juan Ixtayopan. They had been sent to do undercover work =
in the town without the necessary training and preparation because =
national law enforcement has been spread thin over many areas of the =
country, they said.=20
The senior agent of the group, Victor Mireles, was an experienced =
intelligence photographer, known for his bravery, but had never been =
placed in charge of an operation.=20
A source close to the investigation said EPR members discovered the =
agents' presence in their midst, and began preparing a =
counter-operation. They allegedly told townspeople there were kidnappers =
in the area and gave a description of the agents and their car. It is =
unclear what caused the situation to erupt on the night of Tuesday, Nov. =
23, however.=20
This hypothesis is backed up by a video of the three agents working in =
the town, found during a recent police search of the Cerezo house.=20
According to intelligence reports, the EPR has about 200 cells operating =
across the country, with its heads located in the Mexico City precincts =
of Tl=E1huac where San Juan Ixtayopan is located and Cuajimalpa. They =
also allegedly operate in Oaxaca, Guerrero, Hidalgo, Veracruz and have a =
token presence in Chiapas, but are in no way related to the Zapatista =
Army of National Liberation (EZLN).=20
Also on Thursday, Mexico City Deputy Police Chief Gabriel Regino refuted =
accusations made a day earlier by a senior federal law enforcement =
official that he was to blame for the rescue failure.=20
Federal Preventative Police (PFP) Comissioner Adm. Jos=E9 Luis Figueroa =
said that Regino had informed federal authorities that the city had the =
situation under control, and the PFP therefore didn't mobilize units =
that were ready to go in to San Juan Ixtayopan.=20
In an interview with EL UNIVERSAL, Regino said this argument was =
"indefensible" and that federal police forces were obligated to send in =
officers no matter where city cops were.

Re: Mexican Lynchings

butter and olive oil until golden brown,
about 6 minutes on each side.

Shish Kababes

As old as the hills, this technique has employed seafood, beef, pork, lamb,
poultry, and vegetables; just about anything can be grilled, and young humans
are no exception!

High quality marinade (Teriyaki and garlic perhaps)
1 inch cubes of tender meat, preferably from the nursery
Onions
bell peppers
Wooden or metal skewers

Marinate the meat overnight.
Get the grill good and hot while placing meat, vegetables, and
fruit such as pineapples or cherries on the skewers.
Don?t be afraid to use a variety of meats.
Grill to medium rare,
serve with garlic cous-cous and sautéed asparagus.
Coffee and sherbet for desert then walnuts, cheese, and port.
Cigars for the gentlemen (and ladies if they so desire)!

Crock-Pot Crack Baby

When the quivering, hopelessly addicted crack baby succumbs to death,
get him immediately butchered and into the crock-pot, so that any
remaining toxins will not be fatal. But don?t cook it too long,
because like Blowfish, there is a perfect medium between the poisonous
and the stimulating. Though it may not have the same effect on your
guests, a whole chicken cooked in this fashion is also mighty tasty.

1 newborn - cocaine addicted, freshly expired, cleaned and butchered
Carrots
onions
leeks
celery
bell pepper
potatoes
Salt
pepper
garlic, etc
4 cups water

Cut the meat into natural pieces and brown very well in olive oil,
remove, then brown h
